The Residence Education and Housing Services (REHS) Communications Intern will focus on supporting internal and external communications efforts for the department. This may include communication channels such as the division-wide intranet, weekly and monthly internal newsletters, quarterly divisional publication, MSU Today news website and MSU Live On website and social media. Other communications opportunities, such as social media research, event photography and communication copywriting and editing, may be requested and assigned.
The intern will be key in helping to promote REHS and MSU Live On to the university community. If you are an enthusiastic writer looking to grow your communication and marketing skills, we encourage you to apply!

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Attend monthly divisional communicator meetings
2. Attend REHS Communications team meetings
3. Develop lists of potential story leads for the department
4. Give input on content most valuable and interesting to team members across the division
5. Give input on content most engaging for current students
6. Draft stories and content for divisional communications
7. Write and edit content for Live On website and social media
8. Interview team members in order to produce content
