Position Vision

The Social Media Coordinator manages the voice and visual execution of the Gazelle Sports
brand on all social media platforms. The ideal candidate has experience developing content strategy, working
in collaboration with a creative team, is data driven in their decision making, and able to identify and adapt to
emerging social media trends- with a passion for the running community, and the run specialty retail industry.

Position Expectations

  • Develop and implement robust social media strategy for all business units including Gazelle Sports,
    Team Gazelle and Gazelle Sports Signature Events
  • Plan and communicate photography, graphic design and copy needs to support social media strategy
  • Develop and manage paid social ad strategy in collaboration with Director of Brand
  • Develop and implement strategy for Gazelle Sports brand engagement with followers, influencers and
    other key social media accounts
  • Research, identify and strategically implement emerging social media trends across growing channels
  • Evaluate and report on KPIs regularly
  • Influencer strategy development and coordination
  • Execute brand voice in alignment with brand standards across all social channels
  • Manage all Gazelle Sports Signature event social media accounts

Position Requirements

  • Experience with social media scheduling and creative platforms (i.e. Buffer, Canva, etc…)
  • Experience with ads manager and KPI reporting
  • In depth knowledge of existing and upcoming social media platforms and best practices including, but
    not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, etc…
  • Willingness to travel to all Gazelle Sports locations
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to consistently hit deadlines
  • Some evening and weekend availability may be required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the run specialty retail industry
  • Experience in using Photoshop to create social media visual content
