The Junior Podcast Growth Specialist will focus on supporting the Podcast Growth team by assisting with the execution of audience development tactics and tracking progress across Condé Nast’s activities in audio. This role will engage with our slate of new podcasts launching this year and existing shows including The New Yorker Radio Hour, WIRED’s Gadget Lab and Vanity Fair’s Still Watching and Little Gold Men. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a demonstrated history of strong administrative and organizational skills, a great written and verbal communicator, and some familiarity and comfort working with data. Most of all, they should be passionate about audio with a willingness to dive in headfirst and learn how to make podcasts successful.

Responsible for:

  • Developing strategies & execute tactics to grow Condé Nast’s podcast business across new & existing shows:
    • Help develop audio campaign strategies
    • Maintain & execute internal & external audio promotions
    • Track promotional opportunities on a weekly episodic level for platform promotions
    • Track weekly metadata for new & always on shows to align show titles & episode descriptions with best practices
    • Track & optimize weekly social & email promotions for podcasting across focus shows
    • Maintain asset tracking & delivery grids for show launches
    • Track podcast & campaign performance across new & existing shows
    • Assist the Podcast Growth team in maintaining resources for audience development best practices for brands
  • Owning Chartable SmartLink & SmartPromo execution performance
    • Create & monitor Chartable Links for brands
    • Create & monitor SmartAds for internal & external audio ads
    • Create weekly reporting for Chartable
  • Creating monthly audience development podcast newsletter including
    • High level performance metrics
    • Show updates & milestones
    • Industry news
