America’s Test Kitchen is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to support our innovative and growing digital team. The Social Media team manages the brand voice, content plan, and marketing strategy across all major social platforms for America’s Test Kitchen brands—including America’s Test Kitchen, Cook’s Illustrated, Cook’s Country, and America’s Test Kitchen Kids. 

The Community Engagement Coordinator will support varied projects to build and sustain the presence on these platforms and more. Reporting into the Senior Social Media Manager, this role will engage with our growing digital audiences, manage content calendars, collect and analyze data, stay ahead on digital trends, and support the larger social media team. 

In order to accomplish these tasks, the Coordinator will collaborate with in-house Video Production, Creative Design, Photography, Digital Marketing and Test Cook Editors. 

The ideal candidate has a passion for community engagement, social media, innovative marketing, capturing and editing social video, and an interest in the food media space — leveraging these skills to help solidify our place as a dominant voice in the marketplace. 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate community engagement efforts for our social media platforms across all America’s Test Kitchen brand channels, including America’s Test Kitchen, Cook’s Country, Cook’s Illustrated, and America’s Test Kitchen Kids. 
  • Daily interaction and creative campaign engagement with our social followers and fans.
  • Create and produce social media video and design assets to be used across channels. 
  • Organizing the content trends calendar for the America’s Test Kitchen social media team.
  • Work closely with the video, photo, and creative teams to be a super-user of our digital asset system and have an eye for great social imagery, food photography, and video. 
  • Act as a supportive resource for new projects and campaigns as needed. 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Communications, Content Production or equivalent industry.
  • Experience with all social media platforms (including, but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, etc) both natively and via listening or publishing platforms (including, but not limited to: Later, Iconosquare, Sprout Social) 
  • Proven ability to coordinate publishing, social listening, interacting, and engagement with digital audiences for brands and/or verified social media accounts. 
  • A strong passion for community engagement, creative and innovative content creation, social video shooting and editing, and the ever-evolving medium of social. 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage and update content calendars.
  • Self-motivated, very creative thinker, and can remain agile in the ever-evolving world of online content production, as an enthusiast of both food media and social media trends.
