Dan Meier
Assistant Director of Experiential Learning

Dan coordinates and advises for experiential learning programs such as study abroad/away, international internships and service learning in the College of Arts & Letters. He has a bachelor’s degree from MSU and a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver.  As a student/recent graduate, Dan studied abroad in Spain, taught English in Chile, and participated in a service learning program in India. He has over 10 years of experience in the fields of international education and nonprofits.



Victoria Morris
Internship Developer

Victoria serves as an Internship Developer at Michigan State University tasked with the daily challenge of connecting employers in the arts and humanities with internship opportunities to students that are interested in pursuing careers in these fields.  She spends her days coordinating with organizations and nonprofits to facilitate and formalize their programs to ensure both students and employers have a quality and symbiotic internship experience.

Career Consultant

Christie supports College of Arts & Letters students in exploring their career options, preparing for life after MSU, and connecting to future career opportunities. Christie joins the Excel Network team with a background in service-learning and community engagement initiatives. She has a Bachelor of Arts in French from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan.

Cassie Feith
Intern

Cassie acts a peer advisor for our Publishing, Editing, and Authorship career community as well as our International Affairs, Law, and Government community. She is currently a junior studying English, Spanish, and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) and is pursuing a career in secondary education.She has studied abroad in Ireland, studying fairy tales, and in Germany, studying Human Rights.

Mary Rooney
Intern

Mary acts as a peer advisor for the Visual Arts, Arts Administration, and Performing Arts career community as well as the the Design, Technology and Media community. She is a current junior studying Film Studies and Media Information with a concentration on Film Production, as well as a minor in Anthropology. Mary works as a freelance director and editor, currently working with local bands from the Lansing area. Upon graduation she plans on continuing her work in the film industry.
