Staying Involved with CAL

As an alum, you have a unique opportunity to share your story with students and families, including why you attended MSU and what that experience meant to you. With over 36 majors in the College of Arts & Letters (CAL), every alum is able to provide information on their specific path to success, helping future alumni navigate their time at MSU and beyond. Utilize Arts & Letters Connect to connect with CAL students for mentoring and networking opportunities.

Connecting with Other Alumni

There are many ways to stay connected to fellow alums, university wide or those specifically from the College of Arts & Letters. For connections university wide, check out the MSU Alumni LinkedIn group to participate in conversations on how to assist one another to be successful in our lives and professions. For fellow CAL alums, check out Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters LinkedIn page.

Career Resources

Whether you are a recent graduate or experienced professional, the Career Services Network and the Alumni Office provide services for all MSU alumni. Recent graduates are able to utilize student-specific services for up to two years after graduation. These services include one-on-one advising, career fairs, Handshake, and MSU Connect. Experienced professionals, those more than two years post graduation, are encouraged to utilize CareerShift, the MSU Alumni Office, and Spartans Helping Spartans to view current postings or strategize your next career transition.
