Role description:

We’re looking for individuals who have fresh ideas and ways to look at furniture goods and their styles, not only with a willingness to learn about the furniture industry but also with the desire and ability to solve problems creatively in the market. As a Style Analyst, you will be responsible for managing client websites for quality and functionality. Additionally, maintaining product testing documentation, and creating solutions for client special requests and recorded issues. 

This position will support the product team, but will also have direct contact with engineering, and data science teams while completing tasks, maintaining quality, and testing our internal products and product changes.

A few requirements:

• Education or professional experience in merchandising
• Style sense with ability to articulate why
• Ability to understand and communicate requirements and issues to technical and non-technical individuals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to understand dependencies and critical path tasks and make logical, timely decisions
• Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Desire to work in a technical environment, learning basic SQL for data analysis
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred but not required:

• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising preferred
• Experience working in a retail store, preferably in the furniture industry
• Microsoft Office experience
• SQL language knowledge
• Understanding of basic furniture categories
• Experience in working with a small, but fast-moving team that is customer-driven.

Location:  We are currently a hybrid office located in Ann Arbor, MI
