Original9 Media, a LaunchSquad company, is looking for a talented writer and editor to help our team develop and produce custom content programs for emerging and established brands. Original9 is working remotely. We are open to remote work candidates for this opportunity.
The ideal Content Writer candidate will have work experience as a writer and editor with the ability to toggle between long-form articles and short blog posts, snappy social copy and traditional content marketing formats. They should also have impeccable relationship management skills and a knack for anticipating what’s next.
Familiarity with b2b content topics and the ability to translate technically complex subjects into understandable concepts and language is key. A mix of experience in both media and branded content writing news articles, technical blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, e-books, social media posts, podcast scripts, presentations, and other strategic content across multiple mediums is preferred.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of editorial production experience at an agency, publication or brand
- Unassailable writing and editing skills
- Ability to grow and manage an external network of writers, experts and contributors within niche markets/subject matters
- Relationship management or customer service experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment working on multiple concurrent assignments
- Passion for storytelling, writing and editing
- A strong writing portfolio across a diversity of mediums
