This program is designed to engage students in a variety of experiential opportunities that reflect their career interests and provide an academic component to reflect upon their professional development as well as broaden student understanding of contemporary Spanish culture. MSU partners with EUSA, an international internship provider, for on-site housing, support and internship placements. EUSA has an office and staff located in Madrid. EUSA will secure internships based on a resume, statement of interest and a Zoom/Skype interview. In Madrid, EUSA will provide internship oversight and 24-hour emergency response.

EUSA has also indicated an ability and willingness to search beyond those categories for students with other interests and skills. Interns may be placed with internationally recognized companies, domestic government agencies, as well as national and European organizations while experiencing the vibrant and exciting city.
