Explore an area of career interest and broaden your understanding of Australian culture by studying and interning in Sydney.
This program is designed to engage students in a variety of experiential opportunities that reflect their career interests and provide an academic component to enhance their professional development as well as broaden student understanding of contemporary Australian culture.
Intern + Study in Sydney with CEA CAPA offers MSU students from the sponsoring colleges the opportunity to complete an internship for 20 hours a week for 6 weeks (120 hours total) and take an associated Global Internship Course for 3 credits. CEA CAPA Career Coaches will guide you through the internship placement process, using your application materials to match you with a personalized internship placement that aligns with your goals.
In addition, students will take one additional 3-credit course from a selection offered by CEA CAPA. Credits earned will transfer to MSU as approved by the student’s college.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The internship placement process is handled entirely by CEA CAPA staff. Therefore, MSU is not able to dictate where students are placed and/or what placements will be available. Students who pursue the internship option should be prepared to show flexibility and open-mindedness as it relates to placement types and the overall CEA CAPA process.
