At the Michigan Court of Appeals, I had significant exposure and insight into the appellate process. While interning here, I was able to attend case calls, analyze briefs, and meet with judges weekly to discuss the facts, precedents, and details on each case. This experience has provided clarity on my career aspirations and what it takes to be an effective attorney in the public sector.
As a Career Peer Intern for the College of Arts and Letters, I have gained a lot of professional insight as it relates to interviewing techniques/skills and how to produce a solid resume. More than anything, I enjoy talking with people and helping them gain clarity on how to market themselves. I have been able to do that here at CAL.
