My favorite experience from this summer internship was honestly getting to know each of the employees at MOCEAN. It’s so hard to mark one day as a high point, because every day I was able to learn from some of the most creative and welcoming people I have ever met. I truly felt like a part of the team, and every person at our company made me feel welcome and took a chance on me, and I’m so grateful for that — it made home feel a lot less far away.
In this internship, I was able to learn both technical and creative skills, specifically toward the writing side of creative marketing. But beyond that, I was able to witness first-hand how much work goes into creating these minute-long trailers… a promotional campaign for a film or television series can take months and months to make, and during that time period, people are always working together to create the best trailer for worldwide audiences to see. The work ethic and constant flow of creativity was inspiring, and it definitely allowed me to deepen my appreciation for the type of work that goes into creative content and marketing strategies.
