In this program, students learn about sex and gender politics, policy, and history in the Netherlands, one of the most sexually liberal countries in the world. Yet this 'culture of tolerance' has its limits and is fraught with apparent contradictions.
Amman, Jordan | Summer
Students participating in this program will obtain a maximum exposure in the Arabic language and the Levant dialect, which will help them converse confidently in the Arabic language, and research about the Middle East and its culture.

Film in Britain offers students the opportunity to study film history and film production. This six-week program combines the academic study of film, film production, and exposure to London and Edinburgh as cinematic cities.
Mayen, Germany | Summer
Mayen is a city of approximately 22,000 people, surrounded by areas of great scenic beauty and historical interest. During the five weeks in Mayen, daily classes are augmented by excursions to sites of local and regional interest. Students spend the sixth week traveling across Germany to the larger cities of Jena, Weimar, Dresden, and Berlin.
Brisbane, Australia | Spring
Participants in this program will be introduced to Australian society and its education system. They will explore the culture, natural science, history, social dimensions, and business practices of Australia while studying at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

This program explores a post apartheid South Africa that has experienced rapid transformations. The end of the legally-enforced racial inequalities of apartheid has opened a complex array of opportunities for all South Africans, and a host of challenges stemming from the legacies of that history.
