As a Content Development Intern with Lingco, I developed German content and contributed to the platform’s German Language resources and collaborated with native German speakers, instructional designers, videographers, and proof-to-create authentic materials, proofread content, and ensured high-quality, engaging content.
As an Environmental Education Intern, I completed work on nature-based projects, assisted with summer camp programs, wrote or assisted with articles and adverts for various projects and programs, as well as social media.
As a Student Lister with the MSU Surplus Store, my responsibilities included identifying books of art prints to process, disassembling and cutting prints to be photographed, and curating photo spreads of prints to facilitate sales.
My responsibilities as a Summer Legal Intern with Rosenberg Perry & Associates LLC included a variety of basic office tasks, such as answering phones, doing basic filing, and making copies, but also included more challenging legal tasks like legal research, drafting witness questions, and creating fact summaries for the attorneys and their cases.
I worked at Connections Speech and Language Center as a Practice Manager for my internship. Connections is a Speech and Occupational Therapy clinic located in Lansing Michigan. My responsibilities consisted of administrative management of office supplies, toys for therapy, and organization around the office, human resources jobs, such as employee onboarding, acting as a point of contact between management and employees, assisting in financial planning and insurance billing, handling day-to-day challenges within the office, and overseeing the implementation of office technology.
As a Curatorial Intern within the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, my daily tasks included gathering and scanning photographs and books, researching and reading, and compiling bibliographies.
I am an Arts and Collections project planning intern, working on an arts initiative titled “Arts4u”. I work for the associate provost of the Arts and Collections department, Judith Stoddart. Arts4u is focused on curating and organizing art and music-centric pop-up events hosted specifically for students, by students. Our mission revolves around locating new and imaginative spaces across MSU's campus to promote awareness of the arts in unexpected ways.
As a marketing/video editor with BASSETTI China, I learned communication skills and video editing skills during my internship. I gained a deeper understanding of the path in the marketing/video editing industry, exercised my communication skills, and learned the importance of communication.
My internship title this summer was Production Intern! My roles and responsibilities included assisting my manager with any production needs he might have, putting together Requests For Proposals to outside vendors, working with the other interns from the Detroit office to put together a final intern project and various social media challenges, putting together contact and FAQ sheets, sit in on daily client meetings and various production/creative/finance meetings.
