My responsibilities as a Data Analyst and Design Intern include working with staff in the Individual Giving Unit Office including the Regional Lead, Stewardship Coordinator, Data Analytics, and Prospect Data staff, as well as completing a multi-faceted project presenting both visual analytics and data list reporting for major regions of MSU alumni in all colleges.
As a Fashion Merchandising and Design Intern with Jaline Resorts, I ran the social media accounts and the brand website. I also had the opportunity to design and style a photoshoot.
As the UX Strategist Intern at Viget, my main responsibility was to develop the Information Architecture for our Intern group project. Additionally, I assisted and shadowed real-world UX client projects, completed a curriculum covering topics such as Accessibility and Wireframing, started two professional development personal projects, and executed a solo presentation to all of Viget.
As an undergrad intern with Clinical Applications Of Speech Acoustics, I had a lot of different roles and responsibilities. These included things from getting and setting up furniture to obtaining and analyzing data from speakers and amplification devices.
As a law clerk, my roles and responsibilities included preparing and organizing documentation for immigrant visas, removal cases, persecution, and political asylum cases, applications for citizenship and adjustment of status for submission, contacting clients via email, telephone, and office software, and drafting and compiling papers for immigration and citizenship including affidavits, petitions, motions, and applications.
As a UX Designer and Researcher within the MSU Content Studio, I play a variety of different roles, such as website management, recording site analytics, content and accessibility auditing, quality assurance checks, and much more. My time at the Content Studio has exposed me to incredible people, environments, and learning experiences.
As an intern at FHCI, I was responsible for designing workshops and performing research. This research mainly involved fundraising by identifying potential donors and reaching out to them and by finding and applying for government grants in the US and Zambia.
I interned with the youth mentoring program at the Refugee Development Center (RDC). I worked in a classroom with two other teachers. I mostly helped the teachers with lesson planning. My responsibilities specifically included creating English (grammar oriented) lessons meant for high school aged students.
As apart of a Student Co-op with DTE Energy, I interacted with customers and aided in gas renewal scheduling, plotted grids/maps to plan large-scale projects of gas renewal, utilized Maximo, Excel, SAP, ESRI, and CRM to manage customer information efficiently and effectively, and worked alongside the management team in scheduling renewal jobs around the West Michigan area.
