I used MSU's study abroad portal to discover CRCC Asia's Internships in Kansai Region, Japan program. I applied and later interviewed with MSU, CRCC Asia, and Kyotech. I used resources available at MSU to help me write my resume and prepare for interview questions.
My title was UX Design Intern and for my summer project, I worked on redesigning an employee-facing program experience to improve the user experience of the program’s processes. Aside from designing in Figma, I’ve had to attend multiple stakeholder meetings, conduct thorough user research, and update my whole team on my progress every week in stand-ups.
My internship title was Digital Accessibility Intern for MSU’s College of Human Medicine. I conducted accessibility audits and comparative analyses, designed seamless newsletter templates, dividers, and digital promotional graphics, and provided actionable recommendations to improve accessibility and user experience on the OMERAD site.
As a legal intern, I supported attorneys at an immigration law firm by conducting case research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with visa applications—primarily L-1, O-1, Green Card, and I-485 adjustment of status cases.
I assisted with research projects supporting OREE’s safety mission and goals by conducting literature reviews and synthesizing findings from multiple sources. I prepared materials for both internal and external presentations, collaborated closely with education teams and other departments to exchange insights, and contributed to a collaborative research environment.
I'm an intern with the Arts4U team, specializing in event planning for the arts. Our mission is to integrate the arts into research initiatives, university culture, community outreach, and educational experiences.
As a Marketing and Sales Intern, I collaborated with the business development team to streamline operations and support cross-functional initiatives. I contributed by drafting and revising marketing and sales collateral, as well as editing and rewriting much of the company’s website content. My role also included conducting mass data cleanup, in addition to creating reports, dashboards, and tools to better support sales representatives.
As an intern with the Oakland County Circuit Court under Judge Victoria Valentine my goal was to learn and observe.
As an intern with TurnUp, I completed weekly educational tasks that involved researching a range of policy and advocacy issues. I then identified opportunities for local engagement by finding grassroots organizing events and initiatives related to those issues within my community.
