Mayen, Germany | Summer

Mayen is a city of approximately 22,000 people, surrounded by areas of great scenic beauty and historical interest. During the five weeks in Mayen, daily classes are augmented by excursions to sites of local and regional interest. Students spend the sixth week traveling across Germany to the larger cities of Jena, Weimar, Dresden, and Berlin.

Founded in 1964, Lancaster University is a research-intensive institution ranked among the top 10 universities in the UK. The main campus resides in the countryside just three miles south of the center of Lancaster. It has a student body of approximately 13,000 and each year welcomes nearly 3,000 international students to campus from all over the world. Lancaster is home to nine colleges in various subjects.
